Well, the inevitable happened. Abby was in close contact with a classmate whom was tested positive for Covid-19. MOH texted and required her to be tested on the day itself. We wondered what gave her the idea it was uncomfortable / painful. We had to pin her down to perform the swab. No child was hurt in the process, just some phycological trauma.

Abby confirmed that her screams were totally unnecessary.

Update: 30 October 2021, she is asking for her next swab so that she can be released into the wild.

She forsaked her older brothers and friends today. It’s her life to decide what she wants. I’m glad she knows what she wants. We have stayed here for almost 4 years and I am still in awe of this place. it is one of the best decision made.

Just 1 of the days but I read a post on Vox about play dates. The Covid Pandemic shelved many of such play dates in The States. Such play dates are structured because parents choose who the children play with and where the children play at.

Thankfully, we do it differently. The kids, through trial and error, discover themselves and who they want to extend friendships with.

This is truly a great place for the kids.
