M: Following 小母指 (Xiao Guilin)

So we finally got this going. We read about this almost a month back and we finally dragged our asses there. It was a combination of train rides, kick scooters plus the good ol' walking. We climbed to an area which was not kid friendly. Mum certainly didn't enjoy having her heart popping out every other second when the kids edged towards the 'cliffs.

Still, an good achievement on our part. We made it back about 735pm for dinner back home. Way off our usual schedule.

M: Soccer camp (Turf City)

We signed up with Real Madrid FC for a 3 day camp. SGD 200 for the 2 boys. I thought it was a good offer and they loved it. Coaches are important in making them love or hate the game.

At the end of the first day, we brought Fei to Queensway SC to get his first pair of boots. It was a neon pink Nike. It looks so well on him.

M: Walk to BNC

We decided to walk to BNC for brekkie. It's a brave decision, bordering foolishness. Why so? Because if hunger pangs kicked in midway, we are dealing with meltdowns. that didn’t happen, thankfully. We made our way uneventful.

On the way back, we meet Fei's classmate, mother's talked about kids while the kids played at a nearby playground which I thought was impressive for public housing standards. It shames many condos, by comparison.
