M: What a day!! (Alcatraz)

We spent the whole day at home. I got the kids to wash the balcony, then we headed to the beach volleyball court and swam in the sea of sand. Dinner was steamboat and teppanyaki. It was an awesome day.

Slug is having his haircut while the other 2 happily got a free pass on screen time. 

The wondrous thing is that we could all be here, with corners to be in, not feeling claustrophobic, not feeling warm, perfectly settled in. 

I love The Alcatraz. 

M: Farm Visit

It's the 2nd day of school and with a great stroke of luck, an excursion to Kin Yan Farm is organized. It makes easing him into school easier. 

2 girls wanted to be close but Fei displayed disinterest. I'll give him some 15 years. It'll be a different matter altogether then. 

Farm visit was not made conducive for the kids. Demonstrations conducted were more for adults, place totally not for kids. No playgrounds, no proper washing areas, nothing to make the kids want to return. It's all business. 

Lunch was held in school and I brought him home. It's only the 2nd day and he wasn't ready. 

On the 5th day, I left him in school. Screams could be heard and the teachers managed him and he stayed till 5 pm. He emerged from the center all smiles. There were presents given out for children's day and it eased him into the program.
