A playground at the foot of the mountain.
slug, Fei and Abby went down the slide together. Fei, being in the middle, bit his tongue at the foot of the slide. Cried buckets and I teased him further on having a broken nose and a broken tongue now.
There was an old man at another part of the playground spinning tops and we had a go at it. Oddly, I can't find the photos now.
So here it is. In the first photo, the carpark is just by the mouth of the street that we're headed up from. Everyday, we walk this street and into a temple just round the corner. It's a walk up everyday and it is not some gentle gradient. It gives the heart and legs a good workout though. I enjoy the daily walks.
After lunch, we headed to an ice cream parlour. There's 1 thing I love about Japan and that is their soft serve ice cream. It's the best I've tasted so far.
Having it out on the streets...it has a nice vibe to it.
On the last 2 photos are Fei and Abby sharing an ice cream moment together. They fighting 90% of the time so this is rare.
