We had our first lunch at Chatterbox, Hilton Orchard. Food was nice, restaurant service great, decor was good, absolutely nothing to complain about.

It looks like Mum has Slug to accompany her for chicken rice. He absolutely loves it.

Fei ordered a lobster laksa but didn’t take to it.

Abby and Box shared a chicken rice set, no sauce with white steamed rice. They are both more interested in Rojak and mixing sauces.

Mags seemed to enjoy lunch, ate more than I did, for sure.

Vincent…I think he likes it as well. Gotta ask him, didn’t get the chance.

After lunch, we walked to Muji, Plaza Singapura. Bought something household items, another 2 trolleys to avoid fights. All went home happy.

There's a photo of us in the train and Abby was standing away from us because Mum said something which upset her. This is the 2nd instance this has happened. The first was up on a mountain in Kyushu 2019.

haha...

The new table drawer from Amazon arrived and Slug got to assembling them. Fei was asleep when Slug started, joining him subsequently.

Good job, Slug and Fei, I'm proud of you boys.

Naturally, Luna laid on the luggage and side-eyed us throughout.

Time just flashed past. She was just born at Gleneagles Hospital in July 2001, I held her for the first time in my arms. It felt like not too long ago and now she graduates. That's what it feels like to have 23 years fly by, I suppose. I still recall your first recess at Henry Park, sending Jordan home. Picking you up from TKGS, picking you up from ACJC.

It also was very recent, we travelled to London and Bath to find you. It was supposed to be your time with Vincent, we barged into your first long haul holiday but he just have to live with it. haha

Sidenote: Thanks to the wife for planning it.

Back to the Commencement Ceremony, in classic drama style, her shoe strap snapped just before the start of the ceremony. Thankfully, it still held together and she walked the stage like a winner.

Retrieving some old photos of you, I realise that the old saying is true. Time is a invaluable element. Once gone, it's never coming back. I'm thankful for this day, knowing that I still have time with you. I'll cherish every moment, moving forward.

Congratulations, baby.

Sidenote: I don't know why your photo is cropped out but it looks fine when you click in.
